Feature | United States | 103 Minutes | English, Korean
The Rose: Come Back To Me is a documentary showcasing the dramatic rise of The Rose, the Korean indie rock band with roots in the K-pop training system. In 2017, THE ROSE built a millions-strong global fanbase as a breakout Korean indie rock band. In the film, after a turbulent three-year hiatus, THE ROSE is making their comeback with an electrifying tour - on their own terms and with a focus on healing and mental health. THE ROSE COME BACK TO ME is an intimate, all-access view of the band’s audacious bid for redemption, independence, and a second chance for glory. The Rose has performed high-profile sets at international music festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza and the Montreux Jazz Festival. They made history as a high-charting Korean alt-rock group on Billboard charts following their emotional full-length return album “Heal” and performed at Madison Square Garden last July. The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Director: Eugene Yi (Free Chol Soo Lee; The A List: 15 Stories from Asian and Pacific Diasporas). Theater B
